Devonport Food and Wine has had a name change! We are now Devonport Food Festival (DFF). Celebrations will still include the combination of food and community in Devonport and surrounds. The festival is held in October each year.
From the farmers that grow produce, to the local chefs that prepare dishes, to the community organisations that provide support and education through food, Devonport Food Festival aims to bring people together through food to promote security, seasonality, and availability of produce across the North West.
DFF would like to work with businesses and organisations within the community, to build a program of events that the people of our region can enjoy.
The DFF calendar comprises food, beverage, and hospitality events staged in and around Devonport. Our aim is to empower and educate the community, as well as offering social opportunities in line with COVID-19 restrictions.
Event organisers are encouraged to create unique experiences and partner with like-minded organisations and producers to deliver a quality and memorable event.
In order to present a balanced calendar, we are seeking a variety of events that cater to different ages, wages, and tastes. It can be as easy as having a special dish/drink of the month.
See key dates on page 3 of the EOI, you may wish to work alongside these established events or add to them.
If you would like to discuss your event further with the team, please do not hesitate to contact us.
To be eligible for inclusion in the program, Expressions of Interest must be submitted by Friday 1st August 2022. Submit your Expression of Interest to Council’s Marketing & Events team by emailing marketingandPromotions@devonport.tas.gov.au, phoning 03 6424 0511, or dropping your completed form into Council Customer Service at 137 Rooke Street Devonport.
