Our Devonport Food Festival has been launched this week and the program kicks of on Sunday with three events that will feature each Sunday throughout the month.

Molly Malones are offering a bottomless brunch from 9-11am every Sunday. You are invited to choose something from their special brunch menu – something savoury like the Big Breakfast, Eggs Benedict or Moroccan inspired avocado and feta smash, or French toast or buttermilk pancakes for those with a sweet tooth. Match your meal with a selection of bottomless drinks for two hours. Make sure you book your spot by calling Molly Malones on 6328 3367.

At the back of the Don Market you’ll find beautiful morsels by Joao, including Portuguese tarts, New York baked cheesecakes and pumpkin donuts, as well as Fat Granny’s delectable home baking. Have something delicious there or take something home to share with the family (or not). Don’t forget to pick up some free-range eggs and the freshest farm vegetables around. There’s no need to book for this one.

A traditional High Tea with a champagne cocktail on arrival, might be your weekly treat at Tranquilles in Port Sorell. If you love a good scone, flavoursome finger sandwiches, and other tasty titbits, plus all the grandeur of a High Tea, this one’s for you. Make sure you book ahead so you and your besties don’t miss out – reservations@tranquilles.com or phone 64287555.

While these events are repeated throughout October, don’t leave it too late to secure your spot as they are likely to get busier as we move through the festival.

There are also plenty of other events throughout the month to explore.  Keep up with what’s coming up on our Facebook page.
