Devonport Food & Wine (DFW) is changing its format in 2021 to highlight the differences in the seasonal cycle for our regional food producers.
To celebrate the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables in 2021, DFW will be focusing on harvest time, farm gates, and the regions’ wonderful producers, in the first two weeks of March.
The final two weeks in October will be celebrating Spring through food, community, and the beginning of a new cycle.
From the farmers that grow produce, the local chefs that prepare dishes, and the community organisations that provide support and education through food, DFW aims to bring people together, to promote food security, seasonality, and availability of produce across the North West.
How do I get involved?
Devonport Food and Wine would like to work with businesses and organisations within the community, to build a program of events that the people of our region can enjoy.
The DFW calendar comprises food, beverage and hospitality events staged in and around Devonport. Our aim is to empower and educate the community, as well as offering social opportunities in line with COVID-19 restrictions.
Event organisers are encouraged to create unique experiences and partner with like-minded organisations and producers to deliver a quality and memorable event.
In order to present a balanced calendar, we are seeking a variety of events that cater to different ages, wages, and tastes.
*Please note any events held at your premises will require a COVID-19 Safety Plan.
To be eligible for inclusion in the program, Expressions of Interest must be submitted by Sunday 31 January 2021.
